Quest Overview

Become a HERO of Dereth.

Start Location: Archon's Holding (Quest Starter Portals inside dungeon)
Requirements: Level 45
Quest Starter: Holding Portal Gem
Time Limit: 24 hours
Repeat Time: not repeatable
XP Reward: 100.000.000 XP
Other Rewards: acquire Hero Status, gain Hero skill points, acquire the ability to level above 50, the ability to go to Arramora, to craft Mana Charge (crafted items that boost to XP for 1 hour), to have a new energy bar called FOCUS and to train the Hero skills and Hero perks.

HERO INITIATION is a 3 part quest.

Start by using an Holding Portal Gem. These drop from Revenant Lictor in Malthabor Ring near Mage Academy Zone

PART I

1. Enter Archon's Holding and Talk to Aun Aulatah Spirit
2. Goto Catacombs of Artefon Dungeon (13.8N,9.5E Osteth) and get the Aulatah Ashes
3. Return them to Aun Aulatah
4. Find a SLIVER OF ENLIGHTENMENT and deliver to Aun Aulatah
5. He imbues the SLIVER

PART II

1. Enter (or continue inside) Archon's Holding and Talk to Lord Kresovus Spirit
2. Goto Repository of the Tree Dungeon (SE corner of Linvak Tukal) and get the 3 pieces (cloth, septer and blade)
3. Return to Lord Kresovus
4. Find a SHARD OF ENLIGHTENMENT and deliver to Lord Kresovus
5. He imbues the SHARD

PART III

1. Enter (or continue inside) Archon's Holding and Talk to Elysa Strathelar Spirit
2. Goto Omishan - Anqoro - Farali Ring and Search to Thorsten Cragstone (random location)
3. Return to Elysa
4. Find a FRAGMENT OF ENLIGHTENMENT and deliver to Elysa Strathelar
5. She imbues the FRAG

CONCLUSION

1. Craft a BOJU GEM with the 3 imbued gems.
2. Goto the Shrine of Transcendance in Millstone and deliver the BOJU GEM to become a HERO
3. After HERO completed touch the Shrine again to get the Mana Craft Recipes

PREQUEST PREPARATIONS

When you want to start Hero Quest try to gather these items and check this information BEFORE the quest. You can do all without it but its much easier to get it ahead.

• HOLDING PORTAL GEM - You need at least one to enter the Archon's Holding at Fortress Goarata (35.4S, 45.7W). These drop form Revenant Colaborator.

If you read the quest Walkthrough you know that's going to happen a lot of rides to Archon's Holding. So STOCK has many gems as possible. The drop rate from colaborators is high (50% more or less) and those are easy to find near MA portal zone.

• RATTLES (from Lodrogs quest) and BLOODSTONE ICHORS - If you go in a group you can skip these. If not these are the easy path to do Catacombs of Artefon. With Rattles no Revenants attacks (only skeletons) and ichors allow you to run.

• SLIVER, SHARD and FRAG - If you have any (or all) the quest becomes so much easier to do. If not, don't despair. When you get to the part of the quest that you NEED the gem you have a much higher chance to get it directly on your bag when you kill one of the 3 bloodstones that can drop it (Oozing, Seeping or Weeping).

• FIRST TIME you go inside the Holding CLICK the Control Matrix. Nothing happens besides a text note. But this will activate you in the dungeon access list so you can come back without a Holding Portal Gem.

• EVERYTIME you go inside the Holding PICK UP all keys you find in the Rooms. Only with those keys you can open the locked doors inside the Holding.

• CHECK The MAPS. These help a LOT on avoiding getting lost or going into Traps.

• Portable Nexus to Hero Shrine - Optional. If at least 1 person in fellow has an Hero Shrine Nexus you will go much faster to the conclusion in the end.

• LIFESTONE RECALLER near the Burun Beach - Optional. If at least 1 person in fellow has LS in Burun Beach it allows fast travel to the Bloodstone killing zone, when you need to kill bloodstones.
